Roger Veysey passed away on 18 August at the age of
64.

“Roger possessed a sharp intellect with a biting sense of humour. I rate him as one of the character leaders of the modern Murray & Roberts who contributed significantly to the post-merger integration of many of the Group’s construction operations during the 1980s,” says Brian Bruce.
Murray & Roberts extends its condolences to his wife, Jenny, and his sons, Myles, Charles, Guy and Adam.

Roy Andersen will succeed Dave Brink as chairman of Murray & Roberts with effect from 1 January 2004.
