RESIGNATION OF NON-EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR FROM THE BOARD OF MURRAY & ROBERTS HOLDINGS LIMITED
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, shareholders are advised of the resignation of Mr
Sonwabo Edwin Funde as non-executive director with effect from 30
June 2008 due to his appointment as South African Ambassador to
Germany.

Shareholders are advised that the Group’s project order book
increased to R44 billion at 31 March 2008, which is 16% up in the third
quarter and almost 100% up over the nine months since 30 June 2007.

FATAL ACCIDENT AT GOLD FIELDS SOUTH DEEP MINE
Murray & Roberts Holdings Limited regrets to
confirm that eight of its employees died tragically in a shaft accident on 1 May
2008 when a personnel cage in which they were being transported at about 2880
metres underground at South Deep Gold Mine west of Johannesburg, fell almost 60
metres. All nine occupants of the cage, including an employee of the mine
itself, died instantly in the accident.
